Mentoring and Education
Promise Land has provided many mentoring and educational opportunities to students of all ages. We have had after school skills classes that have included Diesel mechanics, welding, raised bed gardening, Arboriculture, and more.
Tractor rebuilds have been a big part of our mentoring program. from in-frame diesel reconditioning to full restoration, a tractor provides a tremendous hands on learning experience. Not only are these mechanical experiences educational, they are often live farm repair work that provides the farm with restored equipment.
