Promise Land Farm also has a small-ruminants micro-enterprise with Nigerian Dwarf miniature dairy goats. Our goats provide another area of training and experience with purebred genetics, breeding, kidding, pasture management, rotational grazing, veterinary activities, and small ruminant husbandry. The selling of the animals to homestead families is the current focus of our dairy goat operation, however, we are building spaces and developing a program for training students in all the potential for goat milk shares, soap, cheese, and other value-added product lines. Students and members also get the delightful experience of constant interaction with these friendly dwarf-breed dairy goats.
