Promise Land  is pioneering a specific precision agriculture drone design platform for managing its flocks of sheep. This drone program will involve training students to build the drones as well as training in piloting from licensed drone pilots. The students will be involved in utilizing this drone platform for herding sheep and arial monitoring and patrolling of the farm. This aspect of the program has the potential of job creation and industry here in Charles City with the training of licensed drone pilots (an increasingly in-demand skill) and manufacturing and marketing this and other drone configurations for mission specific markets.
